Vote In The Hood is a political service group whose aim is to get citizens to vote in poverty-stricken neighborhoods, often referred to as “the hood." The Vote In The Hood organization is an important group because it seeks to inspire and inform the young adult about their voting rights, including former felons who may also be eligible to vote.  In today’s society, many young adults in the hood are ill-informed with regard to voting, politics, and are intimidated by the political process.  The campaign's message is, Vote InThe Hood, vote in YOUR hood, because your vote DOES make a difference.  Here is where "politicking" in the streets truly counts!
