Portia Kirkland, former music executive and b-girl, embarks on a
journey to tell the story of Faith and Hip Hop in the music business. Faith and
Hip Hop, a book comprised of Hip Hop Testimonies,
are the stories told by celebrities, music executives and Hip Hop greats, and
how their faith was key to their success in the music business. 
Hip hop is not simply a music genre, but a culture, a movement, a faith
of a generation of people who believed when no one else did.
